Subject: sneezing

SMZ/TMP is generic for Bactrim - sulfamethoxazole /trimethoprim
It is a sulfa antibiotic and should not be used for colds, or sneezing-
In my opinion, antibiotics should only be used in specific bacterial
infection.
Also, the shelf life of a liquid antibiotic is not that long, depending
on
how long you have that bottle it may not be good anymore.

I would look for causes of the sneezing, check bedding, anyplace
dusty the ferret may have gotten, etc. If nasal discharge, fever, or
other signs of illness, a vet check is in order.

I hope she feels better soon.
