Subject: ferret with campyolbacter help!!

We just got our ferret about 3 weeks ago. And about two weeks ago my
15 month old son ate a piece of ferret poop. (small) but he did eat
it. Three days let he was sick campyolbacter (bloody
diarrhea ,fever.) Then me and my daughter got it. The only thing we
all have in common is the ferret poop. ( Sarah and I did not eat it
lol we clean the cage.)Twister has not showen any signs ,but I have
been told ferrets can carry this bacteria. He is now on a
antibiotic . If anyone can tell me anything about this I would highly
appeciate it . Worried Mom.
