I've discussed it with my vet and he would disagree with you. He
believes that today's high quality ferret foods are better for our
ferts. There are many factors that contribute to longevity and health,
and diet is only one factor. I just believe in doing eveyrthing I
possibly can for my ferts. Food is a very small expense.
