Subject: More ECE questions

As most of you may remember, I've been caring for my 4 year old ferret,
Clyders who is recovering from ECE, now my questions are below.

1. Since I have 4 other ferrets, and all are in the same kennel with the
little girl who we believe accidentally gave the ECE to him, and no others
have come down with it, and he is acting like he feels much better, can he
start to have a play time with the gang of 4, or would it be better not to?
How long should I give him before returning him to his buds completely?

2. Since they have all been eating, sleeping, and playing together, is it
possible that they won't be coming down with ECE after almost 2 weeks
together?

3. Normally how long does it take before they might come down with it after
exposure?

4. What is the usual duration of ECE from onset to total wellness?

5. Since they have been with Mimi, what are the chances that if Clyders is
returned to their company, that he might infect one of the others that
haven't come down with it?

6. If after 2 weeks of living with Mimi, none other than Clyders have come
down with ECE, what is the possibility of them having immunity to it?

Thanks again everyone and I look forward to hearing from you. :-D
