Subject: Re: More ECE questions

Thanks for taking poor eyesight into account.

I think that you wil find all of the answers that you seek in
http://www.afip.org/ferrets/ECE/ECE.html

When we had ECE here the ferrets were terribly ill from 6 weeks
to 3 months.

We did not go near anyone's ferrets or even any petstores for a
year afterward. It's a bit extra time but seemed the best thing to
do to protect others.

If memory serves the timeframe for contagion is something like
at least 8 months.

I think that some of your questions are hard to answer,
especially since only about 2 weeks have passed. Some ferrets
perhaps had previous exposures so are not vulnerable but that
is a "perhaps".
