I know one ferret owner in the UK who feeds all his animals
(cats, dogs and ferrets) cheap locally made dog food of around
20% protein. His ferrets are all between 5 and 7 with no
health problems, there is no info. on the food bags as to the
ingredients but it cant be too bad for them. Like me he does
not give any sweet, salty or non meat treats which I think are
more harmful than poor quality food. Chris.
