My ferret has tested positive for ascrid/ascarids (sp?) which I
believe are a type of roundworm. I basically trust my vet, but I
know there are other vets who are much more ferret knowledgeble.
I
was curious about the specifics so I could double check what he
gives
me. The vet receptionist thought his notes listed Nemex and
Pipirzine (sp?).

Nemex is what I would use for a ferret with roundworms. The dose I
have is 4.4 mg/kg, repeat in two weeks. I wouldn't use piperazine,
since the Nemex should take care of the problem.
