I realize you said "usually". Of course, nothing is absolute.
I wanted to mention that I have had the opposite happen. I have had
ferrets have mild reactions (none major, thank God) one year and no
reaction at all the next with the Fervac. I do try to have those
vaccinated first each time so they are at the vet for a longer time
after their shots.
We are using Purevax exclusively now and I have seen NO reactions at
all (so far). I'm pleased with that.
We'll be vaccinating 8 in early July. That out to give us a good
picture.
BTW, I always give each one 1ml of Benadryl as I load them into the
carrier prior to leaving home. Don't know if it helps or not.
