Subject: Very sad day

I am sorry for the loss of your kit, I know how quickly you
can get attached, and how hard it is to watch a
ferret die, feeling helpless.

But, do not take that as an answer, sinus problems do not kill kits,
distemper
does! Please, for the sake of the other kits there, and so the
store can do the proper quarantining, disinfecting and so on, make
sure that a vet sees those ferrets and even better, the department
of health looks into this- or whoever regulates the pet store sales of
animals. If it is not distemper, but a pneumonia, or other infection
that is spreading from kit to kit it still needs to be inspected,
diagnosed and treated or contained.

I think that if this was distemper, and the store is saying sinus
problems,
and get in more kits they could die too, or someone brings home an
infected kit and gets distemper in their home, or the distributor or
breeder has distemper and sends out hundreds more kits without
knowing.
