I might add that if you seek advice from this list, you are getting
advice from some of the best ferret-knowledgable laypeople that
exist. Please don't take that advice lightly. If I had access to such
advice, my very first ferret would not have died from adrenal disease
(we even had surgery done but the vet in California didn't know what
to look for).

As a compassionate ferret guardian, you owe it to your charge to
follow through with appropriate care.
