Subject: Bleeding Thighs and Butt from sores. Help Please
One of my babies has been fighting insulinoma and lympho for
a year now. I have posted about him in the past. He army
crawls everywhere he goes and has lost all control of his
bladder and bowels. He has been that way for months now. He
still enjoys life so much and loves to go out in the grass and
just loll around. Putting him down now is not an option. He
                  loves living.
Anyway, I keep his little butt washed about every 3 hours
right after he eats. That is when he goes the most. At night
tho he uses the bathroom and it just lays there until we get
up to take the ferrets out at 5:OO A.M. He is so sore and red
and bleeding. You can see where his skin is peeling off.
I have had him to 3 vets for this and really have come up with
                  nothing.
One said to put Neosporin on it, one said Cortaid, and one
said A&D Ointment. Of course none of these are working. One of
them called me up today and told me that she wanted me to
start putting Silver Sulfurdene on it. She didn't know where I
could get it but told me to call around and if I found some
she'd get it for me. Her mom had just had a transplant and
they used that on her rash. She said it was soothing and
wouldn't burn his skin. He is also on clovamox to try and help
                  the skin infection.
Does anyone know where I can get this or of something that
will help him. He doesn't act like it hurts but I know it has
to. And the infection will drag him down alot faster. I
already know that his body is going to go alot sooner than his
                  heart or mind.
Tazzie is only 3 years old. He is one of the youngest ones we
                  have.
One of my vets told me that she could tell that Tazzie was
going to hold on by his toenails until the very end. He does
                  not want to go.
Thank you for any and all help you can give me. I look forward
to some good old fashioned advise. Lois
