Michelle,
Another company (Farnam) acquired the Sheppard & Greene line and
apparently hasn't been too committed to supporting it. As a result,
pet stores have had a hard time getting the food, and several have
dropped the Sheppard & Greene products entirely.
Apparently the food is also being reformulated, and will be sold
as "Sheppard & Greene Super Premium Ferret Food". Supposedly PETsMART
will carry it, but I haven't seen it here yet.
This is one reason why it is a great idea to feed your ferrets on a mix
of several foods. (Please don't take this comment personally - I offer
it for information only.)
