Subject: [Ferret-Health-list] ex-vet not releasing original x-rays

Hi Mari,

I don't know what part of the country you are in, but here in New Jersey, you own the x-rays(meaning they are your x-rays. You own them.) A doctor or vet can not refuse to release the x-rays to you. They can give you copies at their expense. Been down that path with a vet before.

You did not say how old the x-rays are. If they are more than 2 or 3 months old, you may want to think about having new x-rays done. Things could have changed with Conan by now.

However you handle this, good luck.

Donna
