I am going to join the chorus here. Tigger still may have some chance
at a good year or two with you. By good, I mean that he should be
feeling good. My ferret Podo had successful right adrenal surgery at
the age of seven and a half. He has insulinoma now, which we are
controlling medically since he's closing in on eight years old.
However, if a realtively small dose of pred didn't work for him we may
have looked at one more surgery.

Thankfully, with the good work done by our vet, Podo seems happy,
bouncy, and playful again. I hope your vet (or another in your area)
can do the same for Tigger.
