There is a risk that in one prone to having clotting problems or
anemia that it might not be wise; could worsen things.

We have had situations in which our food with onions and garlic
was shared with them with no negative results, and many years
back tried some garlic treats that were supposed to discourage
insects. We didn't have any bad results but also no good ones
at all.

We haven't had fleas here but I can tell you that starch eating
insects which we had at that time didn't mind the garlic in the
least. I've noticied that if Steve and I eat a meal which is
extremely heavy in garlic to the point where folks stay at least 6
feet away then we get fewer mosquito bites, but there still are
some, and that lower levels of garlic don't seem to have an
effect.

Perosnally, I think it't a very unproven approach.

If we got fleas I'd look up the past posts on those at

by using the search engine and use what has a good track
record.
