I would really like to thank you all for giving me so much information and
quite a bit of hope.
I'm not giving her nutri-cal or raisins anymore. I did however remember
that I had bought some toddler chicken fingerfood. It is processed, but
it's much higher in protein than anything else I have on hand. I minced it
up finely with 2 knives and tried to get her to eat some of it, but no go.
She's grinding her teeth so much that I think it must be painful for her to
try and chew. I''ll go up to the store tomorrow and hunt down some pureed
meat baby food, preferably with no fruit or veggies added to it!!
I got her to eat some more of the baby food, so at least I can go to bed
and hopefully not worry as much.
Being a diabetic, I know just how it feels to have a low blood sugar
episode, and to realize that is what she is currently living with pains me
greatly. But I'm doing all I can. And now that I understand it, I can apply
the rules I must live by to her as well.
thanks again all, and I'll keep you posted.
Jen
