I don't think that generalizations can be made. I have an 8+ y.o.
who is on Lupron injections and he has not had a return of
symptoms. I have him on a 4 month schedule since I worry about
prostate problems. He's had 2 injections so far and is due again in
August. He apparently had some residual tissue left after a
bilateral. We ran the UT panel to be sure and it was positive. So,
he most definitely is adrenal. His fur is nice and thick, and he
hasn't had any prostate problems or any other symptoms.

I think each ferret, animal, person is different and they each
tolerate things differently.
