True. What the vet oncologist told our vet is that in older
mammals of various types it has an increased chance of not
working with age (that includes in the same animals it worked
for before, like has happened with Warp) so it is important to
know alternatives for the oldsters (say, 8 years and above) for
whom it no longer has enough effect. Lupron was used again on
Warp -- just didn't work anymore except for behavioral
improvement and that did improve her lifestyle, but she would
benefit from more control.
