When my ferrets aren't feeling well, they usually
won't eat their kibble at all and often won't eat baby
food meat from a dish. I usually resort to lots of
babying and feeding them the baby food meat off of my
fingers. Sometimes I have to rub a little on their
lips to get them started. If they only eat a little
bit, then I'll just feed them more frequently. It
takes patience and coaxing sometimes. If she's not
drinking much water, you can add a little water to the
baby food meat or see if she will lick water from your
fingers or hand. They tend to like to be babied when
they're sick.
