Subject: My Roxie is gone, i have a question

I lost my Roxie today. Within less than 72 hours her life
crashed, she had surgery this afternoon, for what was assumed
an avoidable blockage only to find that the was blocked, by a
pyeloric endocarcinoma. She started vomiting, dark fluid, at
first which was mistaken for tarry stool. (my ignorance) ,
but i have never had to deal with this before. The tumor
completely blocked the pyeloric valve to the intestines,
therefore rendering it impossible for any food to pass from
the stomach to the intestines. I didn't have a clue.
My question is this, who has dealt with this before and with
what results. We could have taken her to a specialist, but
she would have had to endure 24 more hours of discomfort, and
whatever else she was going through, and i was told, they are
good for about 6 months and success rate with this sort of
surgery is minimal. Hence my decision to help her cross over.
It wasn't any easy one. I would like more information,
incase i ever have to encounter decision making in a rapid
succession ever again like this, she crash with in 2 days and
was gone.
Please email me privately as well if you wish to respond on
the fhl. I just need to know.
regards
