Subject: red patches

Here is a quote from a 1997 email from Dr. Williams pertaining to red
patches on adrenal ferrets:
"The reddened patches that you are seeing may be a variant of angulate
dermatitis, which has been occasionally seen with adrenal disease.
Although
the relationship between the two conditions have not been definitively
identified, older ferrets with adrenal disease may develop red, scurfy
skin
over a period of several days to a week, which usually resolves
spontaneously."
