Subject: what are people feeding their ferrets

I found this list of ingredients for the previously mentioned ferret food.
Personally, I wouldn't even feed this to a feral cat. It would be
interesting to hear what our resident vets think of this food and the
relation it may have with health problems.

PROTEIN: 31 per cent.

Oil: 18.0 per cent.

FIBRE: 3 per cent.

ASH: 6.5 per cent.

VITAMIN A: 18,000 i.u.per kg.

VITAMIN D3: 1,800 i.u. per kg.

VITAMIN E: 200 i.u. per kg.

COPPER (cupric sulphate)

Ingredients
Cereals, Meat and animal derivatives, Oils and fats, Vegetable protein
extracts, Vegetables, Mineral and Vitamin premix, Antioxidants BHT,
Preservatives orthophosphoric acid, Citric acid and potassium sorbate.
