Subject: Decrease in appetite after Lupron injection
Perhaps someone on this list could be of assistance. I took our
little ferret, Zoey, (6 years), to the vet this past Monday for her
first Lupron shot. When we returned home, she had a little bit of
food, but now her appetite has decreased so much that she's not even
going to the food/water bowls by herself. Could her lack of appetite
be due to one of the side effects of this drug? She was also at the
vet for about 6 hours, and went without food for that period - would
that affect her glucose levels too?
