Did the vet do a blood sugar test? I have had two ferrets with insulinoma
be generally drooly before their symptoms were controlled; that plus the
tooth grinding do go with nausea. Insulinoma can cause both, although a 2
year old seems awfully young for that. Anyway, it's something to check
and rule out.

The ulcer/Helicobacter protocol being used is very difficult to
administer, as has been pointed out. There is one using Amoxi and Biaxin
(clarithromycin) instead that goes down easier that you could use instead
if the current one is too difficult.
