Subject: Vomitting Ferret
Hello,
I posted approx. a month ago concerning a rehab ferret I was
treating that threw up it's food all the time. Well, a Barium was
done yesterday yielding no explanation. There could be a good
couple of days then a bad couple of days. The ferret is approx 2
years old. She also had a half of her tail amputated due to a tumor
earlier this year. It was after that when this started. The vet
decided to keep her another night to watch due to the
inconsistencies of her throwing up her food. I first thought maybe
she is allergic to something here. But, she threw up alot at the
shelter and we use 2 different methods of cleaning. Then I thought
maybe the ingredients in certain foods. I can tell you I am very
baffled as to why she is having this problem. She wants to eat.
Her eating got somewhat better but unpredictable.
What are some of your thoughts (anyone) concerning this?
