Subject: Re: Best kind of litter??

Over the years I have tried everything from clay to clumping to
Yesterdays News and have finally found one that the ferrets seem to
really like. It is called Ecofresh and is similar to Yesterdays News
but it is in odd shaped paper balls as opposed to compressed pellets.
The ferrets do not mind stepping onto it as they seemed not to like
the feel of Yesterday's News and many of mine had begun to go next to
the pan instead of in it when I used it. Ecofresh is absorbant, dust
free, flushable (tho I never do) and made from recycled paper. It
does not discolor the coat & none of my ferrets have rolled in it or
tried to eat it. It is almost non-trac and is as absorbant of odor as
any other litter that a ferret ploops on top of & doesn't cover!. And
an additional plus: it is only 4.99 for a 10 pound bag. Anne---
