it seemed like a great list for health issues. My sister in law's two
year old ferret was taken to the vet because she had a lump on her
face. The vet said she not only had one on her face but two more on
her chest area on the lymph nodes and diagnosed lymphoma (sp?). He
said she had about six months to live and they would do a biopsy and
possibly be able to give her some medicine. Where could I get some
advise on possible treatments? They adopted her from a shelter after
thier old ferret passed away and have only had her for a year but are
very attached and would like to do all possible while still keeping a
quality of life. Any help would be great :)

Dear Tammie - If you search the archives at the web site on lymphoma
treatments - you'll find a world of information, howeve, it is always
best to wait until the biopsy comes back with the confirmation,
rather than start worrying ahead of time. There is always time to do
that if the diagnosis is confirmed.

We can discuss possible treatments later on, but no need to get into
it now...
