Subject: Re: Dr's PLEASE offer advice - What could this be?

Males sometimes do have retained testicles that didn't drop.

Enlarged nodes can mean a malignancy, but if they are only in one region it
may be even more likley they are just swollen because they are tackling an
infection. They can really blow up and do it fast with an infection. We've been
in that spot more than a few times. I'd try to figure out what might be infected
in her lower body, if it's more likley to be anaerobic or aerobic, and try
antibiotics to see what happens. Is she having a fever? Didn't she just
recently have surgery (increasing the risk of infection)?

An aspirate that goes to a good ferret patholgist is logical.

I'm not a vet but have 20 years of ferret experience.
