Actually, Fervac has been available as a licensed vaccine for years.
The new vaccine is Merial's Purevax.




There is apparently a Fervac rabies vaccine out now as well. But
here
in Florida at least, vets are required by law to use only IMRAB-3
for
now. I don't know the laws in other states.


That's news to me, and I'll look into it, but I doubt that United
has come out with a rabies vaccine for ferrets. Imrab 3, as far as
I know, (and I do tend to keep an eye on this) is the only rabies
vaccine approved for use in ferrets.
