Subject: dark circles??
Just thought I'd let everyone know that Spook has undergone his first
course of Pred and from day 1 is back to his old self energy and
appetite-wise. He has put on some weight (we go back to the vet on
Wednesday) and no adverse reactions for such a high dose (2.5 mg
p/day initailly.
My question is bout my other babies...first my female black-eyed
white Dax. She is getting dark orange stains under her eyes lately,
and i'm wondering if there's anything I can do about them. it is
cold here in Australia, though our cold in Winter (11-16 deg C) is
probably laughable to some of you out there, but it can make eyes
water. The stains go away by themselves eventually, but does anyone
think they are caused by anything else??
Spooks brother Selmo is MASSIVE. What are the danger signs when a
ferret is too big?? He is very active, but at least twice the size
of Spook, who I know is skinny due to illness. I will have them all
weighed on Wednesday just for my peace of mind, but I would hate to
think that there is an underlying problem to a ferret being LARGE.
