Unfortunately, being exposed ONLY to natural lighting is just not
possible for us. Also, down here in Miami, I believe our days are a
little shorter in the summer, but longer in the winter, than those up
north.

It's hard to predict when they'll go through their shedding period,
if at all. The first year we had Spaz, he shed his winter coat in
December. Now it's June, so go figure.

Many of our other ferrets never had a shedding period that I can
remember.
