Lupron masks symptoms. It does not cure the disease. An otherwise
healthy three year old should be a good surgical candidate. A seven
plus year old may still be a good surgical candidate, as my Podo was.
It sounds like your vet is uncomfortable doing adrenal surgeries, and
prostate problems in males caused by adrenal disease can lead to urinary
blockages and death. I really, really, really would get a second
opinion for another ferret vet ASAP.

No, not at all. I really do not understand. Once again, even if Jacob
is not a good surgical candidate, lupron should probably be started
sooner rather than later.

Aggressiveness is just another symptom of adrenal disease. It really
sounds to me like your boys need treatment.

I am not a vet, but I've watched my ferts recover from eight
adrenal surgeries.

All the best,
Caity
