If urinary difficulties then the list is led by an enlarged prostate secondary to
adrenal disease, though some other things are possible.

If he is unable to deficate then there is most likely a GI tract blockage such a
huge fur ball, or a piece of a latex toy, or the foot of a zip drive, or an ear plug,
or...

BOTH of these situations are ones which call for emergency treatment and
even perhaps emergency surgery if it is the only way to stablize the ferret. In
some cases the surgery can be avoided, but don't count on it,
