Hi, Mandie,

Your vet is doing what the emergency clinic vet (who is very ferret
knowledgeable) and then our regular vet did for Nyssa to try and pass
the blockage without surgery. The course of treatment sounds correct.

If Rasta is eating, playing, and pooping, that is a very good sign.
Nyssa was a lot worse off than that.

Now y'all know why we use a futon for a couch. We have a pretty but
tough cover, and the ferts have never gotten into the mattress. We
spent abotut $700 all told to get one that was solid hardwood, well
built, nice enough to compliment our living room, and pretty much ferret
proof. It's also great when we have guests over as a spare bed.

All the best,
Caity
