I don't know if that's really adding all that much protein. The
Nutrical and the ferretone sure aren't. Have you tried making Bob
Church's Chicken Gravy? When our vet wanted Pertwee to have more
protein he had us make a bacth with a cup of Iams Kitten Growth Formula
in it. Most ferrets, at least with a little urging, seem to really take
to the gravy.

Mine won't touch cooked meat either, but they slurp up the gravy
happily. I use Pam Sessoms' pressure cooker method to make it, which
makes the whole process a lot easier and less messy.
