Subject: Onion Powder Gerber's

I am currently feeding all my shelter ferrets a "duck soup"
mixture if ground kibble. Hills AD, and Gerber's chicken with
gravy baby food. Several of them have been on it for years as
I can't get them to go back to dry kibble.

A vet, I recently talked with, indicated that Gerber's uses
onion powder which has been harmful to cats and that I should
use a different brand.

When I first began using "duck soup" I searched several
different sources and Gerber's was suggested on several of
them. Can anyone tell me if there is onion powder in Gerber's
and if so is it potentially harmful long term. If so, which
other brand is safer to use.

Thanks for any information.

Pennie
