Subject: Re: [Ferret-Health-list] Onion Powder Gerber's
Check the labels. Packagers are legal required to list all ingredients
in the food. (Though they can still get away with ingredients
like "chicken by-products". ahem.) Gerber's Second Stage food contains
only the chicken and corn starch as a thickener. The third or fourth
stage foods may contain spices like the onion powder - I haven't
checked. Make sure you're using the Second Stage food.
