Having lost a ferret to autoimmune hemolitic anemia 2 year ago, I can
vouch for the fact that it exists. In fact, in the last 2 years, my
vet has treated 7 cases of AIHA. But, AIHA is usually very fast in a
ferret, and there is usually some jaundicing with it.
However, the thing Ulrike has described definetely point toward
ulcers and not AIHA.
