Mainly, his spine is only visable now because of his
weight loss. It's been about a week and a half now.
He's starting to eat and drink more, his feet are
coming up higher, like he wants to take his own steps.
I'm hoping, with the current progress, he'll begin to
use his legs within 2-3 days.
If I have the Xrays, will it change anything? She
said she would treat it the same way, whether we had
xrays or not. If the bloodwork came out okay, what
will the xrays tell?
Thank you for your electronic advise. I'm sure it
would be much easier to see Chip.
It sounds like things are progressing well, and I'm glad to hear
that. X-rays would have been to look for fractures in his spine,
tumors, or other bony abnormalities that could be the cause of the
problems that he's having. Since he's responding to the treatment,
hopefully that's not an issue right now. And yes, it's always
easiest to figure things out when the patient is right there, but
you're welcome to what advice I can pass on. Just remember that
none of the vets on the list can see or touch your animal, and
anything we say is based on generalities, as always.
