I think the Zantac is better. Or Pepcid. You might make giving it
to her
easier by disolving a pill in 10 ml of water then giving her 1 ml
of the
solution. Another good agent to sooth the stomach is Carafate. It
is
almost miraculous. To treat ulcers, your vet will probably give
Amoxidrops, Biaxin and Carafate.

The most common disease that causes to body to fail to make red
blood
cells is being in heat long term, either naturally or from
Adrenaloma.
Her vulva isn't swollen is it?
I must tell you that I am not a vet, just a long time ferret
owner.

I dont know if this will help but when my Sable girl (that was her
name too) had to go on prednisone for her lymphosarcoma, I couldnt
get the liquid so I had to first break a pill in half and then into
quarters and then grind up a quarter of it between two spoons. I
then added it to Nutrical and she took it with no problem.

Just my small 2 cents worth
