---I'm ready and willing to be be corrected and educated, but from
what it says in tthe Saunder's vet dictionary :
Irritable Bowel Syndrome = Irritable Colon Syndrome = Mucus
Colon = Spastic Colon and in it the colon is very sensitive to
stress
while for Inflammatory Bowel Disease it says that it is an
ideopathic (cause unknown) disease which can continue for
years and is also called lymhocytic-plasmacytic enteritis
and I think that leaves at least as many questions as it answers,
so I hope that someone came forward with more info in the
meantime...
