My Sunnie girl (now at Rainbow Bridge) had something similar to
this. She began developing scabs all over her body and they would
really look bad. I thought maybe she was playing too rough with the
other ferrets or vise versa. I took her to the vet about this (not
a very knowledgeable one) and he informed me that they were
"growths". He said not to worry about them but though they didnt
cause her any pain, (she ended up dying of insulinoma I found out
later cause the vet didnt recognize the seizures etc) but they were
very unsightly and caused her to jump out of her bed to scratch
herself so often. Im sorry I cant help but I do remember Sunnie
going through it. I think it was more of a nuisance then painful.
