Subject: update Toby, vet today
I took Toby back to the vet like a couple of you had suggested and she
gave him another blood test. He is still not eating on his own and
grinding his teeth.
His bloodworkup showed improvement and his lymphocites are now in the
normal range which was good news. She added carafate twice a day and
also cimetidine which I give a while after the carafate. She also
wanted me to stay on the flagyl and the amoxi for two more weeks.
My question is about the carafate, shouldn't
he have that before he eats which is about 3-4 times a day, I give him
a duck soup mixture. Any input will be appreciated. I hope this helps
him to start eating on his own again.
