My ferret (Fleur) has a small sore on her face. At first I thought

that the scab was just food stuck in her fur and tried to pull it
out. That was a few weeks ago, and since then she grew another
scab
which fell off on its own and now the sore seems to be bleeding
slightly. Does this sound like just a normal cut or injury that
will
heal on its own or should I get vet assistance

1. You do not state if there are other ferrets involved. It is
possible that another ferret is biting Fleur in the face? I have a
ferret who has done this. Keep Fleur seperated for a few weeks if
this is a possiblity to observe.

2. One of my ferrets had a benign growth on his face that he
scratched until it bled. The vet removed it and put in a few
stitches. These kinds of growths tend to return.
