I cannot guarantee the accuracy of my memory, but it seems to me I
recall reading somewhere that a light left on outside a closed door
and leaking in around cracks of the door affected the breeding cycle
of ferrets, which is photoperiod controlled. Seems to me this was in
reference to Marshall Farms, but I can't be sure.

I take this to mean that even a small amount of light can upset the
balance.
