Subject: Re: ERRATIC BREATHING PROBLEMS

Hello Mary!
Im brand new to this list, so hello everyone!
While looking in posts, I saw this one. It is very close to my
problem! My little ferret Booja, has all of a sudden starting making
this awful noise, like you said. It only happens 3 times a day,
almost every other day. Its really dry though, and it just sounds
like he is weezing. I dont know his medical background, he was a
throw away (..really! Someone let him go and the guys kids told me
about it, and we was gone forever, then, I found him all dirty under
a shed!) But he is reallllllly healthy other than this weird cough
thing. I got a humidifier and some "ferret rx upper respitory"
liquid I got at petsmart. It seems to work really well for him, but
it happens so rare I cant tell. He has alot of fur and he is kinda
fat, so I think maybe its hairballs? His cagemate, Toby, has the
sneezes too. x_X But Tobys nose is kinda wet whiole Booja's is
really dry. BUT ALSO. I just moved from Kentucky to Va, two days
ago. And thats when we really noticed it. I thik it happened once
in Ky, but we were moving alot of boxes around, so maybe its dust?
Im worrying alot, lol. I just moved here so I dont know much about
vets. (Northern VA, Stafford). Can anyone help on that? Im goign to
get some hairball stuff and see if that helps too.
Mary, have you found anything out yet? Any improvment? I'll let you
know if I find out what is wrong with Booja, maybe it can help you
too!
