Subject: researching past posts/rattail problems
Is there a way to research past post topics on this list?
I was interested in the article that stated that the person
had
read on this list that blackheads and "rattail" are caused by
a
mite and could possibly be treated with Ivermectin. I am not
arguing,
but if a mite were the cause, wouldn't all ferrets in a
business be
subjected to rattail? We have 9 ferrets total, with 4
currently in full
blown rattail stage. Only one has "other" adrenal
characteristics,
and none of them have blackheads. The ferrets that do have
blackheads
still have fur on their tails, although it is thinner.
Thank you for any clarification that can be given on this
matter.
