Subject: [Ferret-Health-list] weight gain needed

Why wouldn't Heinz work? Just make sure you get the 1st or
2nd group range. Of course if all else fails and you are
unsure look at the ingredients on the back of the jar as long
as it is just chicken and gravy and water you should be okay
IMHO. Have you tried Nutrical for ferrets as well?

I have a female has always been much more slender than our
male, and I
woould really like to see some more weight on her. She is
healthy, eats
well, poops well, shows no sign of anything other than she
is thin...not
bony, just thin. I looked for Gerber food to supplememnt
her, but all the
stores here only sell Heinz. Is there anything else I can
use as a
treat/supplement that might help put a little more meat on
her bones?

Thanks
Elaine

SMILE . . . it makes people wonder what you've been up to ;)
