Although I am not an advocate of 'treats' since it is
a human thing, I would like to recommend a very
'healthy snack'---WYSONG ARCHETYPE---the next best
thing to the 'real thing'!
As was mentioned, treats should never replace the
ferrets daily diet and giving too much of the foods
mentioned-pounce, cheerios etc.. would not sustain or
add weight to the ferret! Plus a lot of the treats are
nothing but junk food and yes, the ferret loves them,
but then so do children love icecream and candy, but
you wouldn't give that in place of healthy food!
The ARCHETYPE on the other hand is a whole natural
food and can be given any time!
