Subject: Has anyone ever seen this before?

I just had a ferret in for adrenal surgery - shelter ferret, turned 2 in
December. Exhibing some classic adrenal symptoms - a swollen vulva.
Approximately the size of my thumbnail. her only hairloss was a ring around
her tail and only involved the tail.

She came back as bilateral - a suprise because of her age but not as big as
the one I received with the biopsy results. Right adrenal was debulked and
was a neoplasia. Left adrenal was malignant. No other tumors were found
during surgery and she is recovering fine. I will try and get a copy of the
complete biopsy results from the vet this pm as I drop off the next adrenal
ferret...

To the vets: Is this typical? I'm almost ready to begin a policy here at the
shelter to biopsy every growth removed...Any thoughts are appreciated.
